Guest columnist for Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine, October 1997 and April 1998 issues, contributing feature articles on composition and a profile article on legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore.

Contributor to the soundtrack for Before I Sleep, a documentary film produced by Los Angeles based company, Channel One News, 1996.

Created the original soundtrack for Match Quest, an award winning animated short by Kristin Solid, UCLA., 2002.

The transcription for his piece, Novella, was published by Stropes Editions,Ltd, the leading authority in guitar transcription work around the world.

For over ten years Ben has performed across the US in theaters, folk festivals, coffeehouses, colleges, house concerts, weddings, corporate functions, and formal recitals. Highlights include sharing the stage with some of the artists who continue to inspire him including: Billy McLaughlin, Pat Donohue, Dan Schwartz, Tim Sparks, Phil Heywood, and Claudia Schmidt.
