Wisdom / Delusion, produced and engineered by prominent Twin Cities musician, Dan Schwartz, once again displays Ben's penchant for concise and inspiring melodies. It features 8 original compositions, all written and performed by the artist, with original arrangements of the Beatles tune, Here, There, & Everywhere, and a traditional blues piece, Chumpman Blues, by Blind Blake rounding out the CD. Wisdom / Delusion incorporates both elements of traditional and non-traditional finger-style technique, blended with Ben's affinity for pop music. Ben also employed the talents of internationally renowned musicians, and local legends, Enrique Toussaint (bass) and Marc Anderson (percussion), both of the group Speaking in Tongues, to augment a few tracks with their eclectic groove interplay. It is a true finger-style guitar showcase with a uniquely pure sound that has something to offer every listener.
